Packet Transport Networks conference included three days of discussions covering: the evolution of the installed base of SDH/Sonet, the development and deployment of Carrier Ethernet transport and associated technologies (PBB-TE / MPLS-TP / VPLS ...) and the evolution of MPLS as a packet transport solution. A Presentation and Panel was given on the Deploying Ethernet in Mobile Backhaul. |

The theme this year is "core convergence", but will focus on the progress wireless operators are making migrating backhaul networks for increasing volumes & types of data traffic & the challenges.
